I am a web developer with ten years experience. I've worked for several creative agencies including: WWAV Rapp Collins London, Bates Interactive (XM-London), Tribal DDB London and Lean Mean Fighting Machine

I previously worked for the BBC as a New Media developer, for Minnesota Revenue as an xml applications developer and for OLSON as a Senior Developer (client and server side).

I'm currently working as a Consultant for MarkLogic in the UK.

I specialise in client side web development using xml and xslt, xhtml, css, DOM-based JavaScript and Flash. I've also made extensive use of Apache's xssi in the past

Most of the sites I've worked on have been hosted on Apache servers. So I'm happiest working in WAMP / LAMP environments.

I also know about server side development using PHP, Perl and Java (JSP). I've also developed sites working with Oracle and MySQL databases.

I'm also interested in User Experience Design (UXP), Information Architecture, Accessibility, Usability and Web Standards.

I develop using open source tools wherever possible and I'm happy using OS X, Windows or Linux.
